WHAT IS MAKETORY?
Maketory is the only facility of its kind in the San Diego area offering an industrial makerspace, paired with private studios and traditional coworking offices. Our shop includes a full woodshop, metal shop, welding space, blacksmith shop, prototyping equipment and assembly areas. Maketory offers memberships for businesses and individuals to utilize world class industrial equipment and flexible work spaces to achieve growth and success, with minimal investment and startup costs. Maketory also offers a unique blend of classes open to the public for beginners and professionals.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Sign Up For A Membership - Membership offers full access to our facility. Come and go as you please anytime during our open hours. Maketory offers annual and month-to-month options. Choose the plan that fits your needs.
2. Schedule Your Classes - Classes are what delegates which machines you can use in the shop. Take the classes you need, skip the ones you don't. If you need access to additional machinery in the future, you can take more classes anytime!
3. Choose A Storage Option - Storage is optional if you choose to take your work home with you. If you plan to leave tools, materials, or active projects onsite, a storage option is required.

CLASSES
Maketory classes offer a unique, 1-on-1 experience, designed for anyone from beginners to experienced professionals. With a fun, relaxing vibe from our world-class instructors - Maketory classes are a one-of-a-kind experience that is perfect for individuals, hobbyists, professionals, date nights, corporate events, team building, workshops, and more! Classes are open to the public, with no need for a membership.
STUDIOS AND STORAGE
Not enough space at home to set up your tools and machinery? We've got you covered. Our private work studios are fully customizable units for your tools, materials and in progress work. These units are adjacent to our shop floor and industrial equipment so everything you need for your next project is under one roof.
COWORKING OFFICE SPACE
Maketory’s flexible office suites are suitable for any size business. Ideal for entrepreneurs, startups and growing teams, we offer flexible options and a creative environment to take your operations to the next level, with affordable overhead costs. Working out of Maketory provides a modern office experience with access to San Diego’s top creative talent.
